The Jersey Cares Corporate Service Program enables thousands of corporate volunteers throughout New Jersey to give back to local communities. Jersey Cares has the expertise and trained staff to help companies of all sizes develop or enhance their corporate citizenship initiatives. Opportunities include:

Customized Corporate Service Program

Jersey Cares is experienced at crafting strong corporate-nonprofit partnerships that benefit the entire community. As a Jersey Cares Corporate Partner, your company will receive customized volunteer project planning services for your employees, clients, vendors and family members. Projects and days of service are based on your needs and managed by trained Jersey Cares staff members. Learn More

Annual Events

Annual Events provide the perfect way for teams of employees to make a difference in just one day. Annual Events include:

• MLK Day of Service - On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, volunteers have the opportunity to strengthen their community and bridge social barriers by participating in a revitalization project at a public school in Jersey City. Volunteers will join students, teachers, parents and community members to participate in various projects.

• Jersey Cares Day - Every Spring, Jersey Cares Day is a day of true partnership and community building as volunteers from all over New Jersey unite for the common goal of revitalizing and beautifying Newark’s communities. Corporate groups volunteer together in teams.

• Jersey Cares Coat Drive - Every fall, The Jersey Cares Coat Drive collects and distributes over 30,000 “gently used” winter coats to at-risk men, women, children and infants. Corporate groups are encouraged to collect coats in their offices and/or sort coats at our warehouse.

• Frosty's Friends - During the holiday season, Jersey Cares gives volunteers the opportunity to give back directly to children in need.  Jersey Cares works with our partner agencies to identify and verify children who can benefit the most from your company’s or employees’ holiday spirit.

Year Round Initiatives (without leaving your office)

• First Night Kit Program - Throughout the year, Jersey Cares volunteers assemble kits for domestic violence shelters, transitional housing facilities, runaway safe havens, foster homes and other agencies with transitional men, women and children in need of hygiene items on the "first night" of their stay. Corporate groups can hold collections in their offices and put together the kits or send collected items to our office for volunteers to assemble.

• Drives  - If you are interested in running a food drive, book drive, school supply drive or any other collection, Jersey Cares can refer you to an agency recipient in your community.

Calendar Projects

To supplement your corporate social responsibility efforts, employees can volunteer any day of the year on their own through Jersey Cares monthly calendar projects. Learn More
