Volunteer Opportunities

Jersey Cares currently offers many opportunities to volunteer each month. Volunteers are encouraged to serve individually or with their families, friends, or co-workers. Our 5,000+ members provide over 10,000 hours of service each year. Jersey Cares volunteers participate in on-going service projects that address critical needs in the following areas:

• Animal Support
• Arts & Culture
• Community Revitalization
• Distribution
• Hunger and Homelessness
• People Living with HIV/Aids
• People Living with Disabilities
• Seniors
• Youth

Additional Community Activities

Many times agencies need volunteers to help out at projects or events that do not meet the criteria to become a monthly Jersey Cares project. Volunteers may be needed for office help, during the daytime or for a one time event, such as a gala or walkathon. As a courtesy to agencies, Jersey Cares will post these volunteer opportunities in the "Additional Community Activities" section.
