A Home Cooked Meal in Morristown
New Jersey AIDS Services is New Jersey's premier HIV/AIDS housing and supportive services facility for homeless men and women. This special transitional residence was founded in 1994 in memory of Eric Johnson, who died of AIDS in 1990.
Headquartered in Morristown, their mission is to respond compassionately and responsibly to the HIV/AIDS crisis by providing need-based services, housing opportunities, prevention strategies and community education in New Jersey. It is the vision of New Jersey AIDS Services to help create a community where the social issues related to HIV/AIDS are abundantly met.
Volunteers are needed to prepare a meal for the residents, create no-sew fleece blankets, and brighten the exterior of the facility.
