Opportunity Details

Conversations and Connections in Elizabeth

We are seeking opportunities to expand our English as a Second Language (ESL) program. In an effort to meet the needs of our participants, we are adding a supplementary offering to our programming called Conversations and Connections. We believe that language acquisition is also an action. In other words, the act of practicing language is an important part of learning. This supplementary course will allow participants to engage with the English language in a new ways. We will incorporate role-play modules, games centered on word play, lessons on parts of English language, and conversation partners. The goal is to create real life practice in a safe space where people can make mistakes, but are then encouraged to continue trying.
