Hunger Helpers in Newark
Through our Hunger Helpers program, volunteers are empowered to change the lives of men, women, and children living in poverty. The agency provides numerous opportunities to answer the call to service and social concern in the neighborhood.
Join us in preparing and serving a sit-down lunch for community residents. By volunteering for this rewarding project, you will make a difference in the lives of many, by offering a few hours of your time preparing meals for those who otherwise would go hungry.
Volunteers should dress to work in the kitchen: t-shits, long pants and closed in shoes.
