Featuring an open bar, delicious hors d'oeuvres, a full Cajun-style dinner buffet,
live Dixieland Jazz and a silent and raffle auction, Mardi Gras Magic will celebrate
some of the most notable people creating real change in our communities.

Volunteer of the Year, Alan Wong: In the short period from June 2015 until the fall of 2016, Alan gave more than 375 hours of his time to serving others. As a volunteer, and leading many projects as a Project Coordinator, he has helped to feed the homeless in East Brunswick, Red Bank, and Tom's River, clean beaches in Belmar, visit isolated seniors in Menlo Park and even work behind the scenes in the Jersey Cares office.
Community Partner of the Year, Academic Foundations Center of Rutgers University: With a mission to provide the tools and resources to help students who are most often underrepresented and underserved, the AFC has ensured a haven of guidance, instruction, assistance and support. Since 2013, there has been a total of over 300 scholars served and 2000 volunteer hours spent engaging, instructing, reinforcing, empowering and enriching our future generations.
Corporate Partner of the Year: Fidelity Investments: In 2016, 830 Fidelity employees dedicated more than 2,900 hours of service to transform communities throughout New Jersey and Rhode Island. Fidelity volunteers are committed to making a difference in a definitive and palpable exclamation, bringing real change to our communities.
Ticket Price: $100 per person
Please note: Guests 21 years of age and older are welcome to join us. Tickets are paperless; your name will be on the guest list at the door. Advance ticket sales close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd. All sales are final. Tickets will be $125 at the door (if available).

We have much to celebrate! In the last year, our volunteers
Contributed 76,000 hours of their time to helping people and local communities
Collected, sorted and distributed 31,000 coats to people who need them
Installed over 2,000 flowers, shrubs and other plants on school grounds, in parks, and in other public spaces
Donated and distributed supplies that made back-to-school packages for 1,520 kids
Helped more than 400 schools, nonprofits and other partners
