Marketplace in North Bergen - Monthly Delivery Day

Volunteers are needed for the sorting and distribution of both food, greeting guests, upkeep and cleaning, organization of the food pantry. WoodCliff Christian Harvest Food Pantry provides food allotments that include perishable and non-perishable items, to approximately 100 to 600 families every month. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to impact the lives of families in the community.

 

• Please note: The timing of this opportunity has been determined by Jersey Cares and Woodcliff Christian Harvest Food Pantry based on the delivery window provided by the food supplier. There is potential the delivery may arrive before or after the opportunity begins resulting in a delayed program start or a shortened volunteer experience. Volunteer Guidelines: COVID-19

• Please follow masking guidelines as set by federal, state, and local governments. Individual organizations may still require masks to be worn.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Clean and wash your hands before, during, and after volunteering for a minimum of 20 seconds.

• If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
