Stepping Stones in Bridgewater

Visions and Pathways addresses the community problems of child abuse, homelessness, runaway youth, and families in conflict.  Its mission is to provide abused, neglected and homeless youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming self-sufficient. 

This Jersey Cares' Stepping Stones opportunity (identified as Journey to Manhood by Visions and Pathways) invites volunteers who are interested in helping develop male youth (ages 14-21).  You can make a difference by lending your voice, experiences, and guidance in a group mentoring setting to help with independent living skills. Topics of discussion vary (ie. substance abuse, money management, coping with stress, healthy habits, elevator pitches, conflict resolution, etc.) with the ulitmate goal of assisting young men with their leadership, interpersonal, professional and economic growth.   

Come and use what you already know to help encourage and positively influence young men who are navigating this thing called life!

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
