Disaster Recovery: Earth Keepers in Jersey City
Liberty State Park sustained substantial damage during Hurricane Sandy. Volunteers are needed to pick up debris and remove invasive species. Help restore this local treasure while enjoying the wonderful views of the harbor, Lady Liberty, and Ellis Island. Only sign up if you are able to make the trip and deregister if you are unable to attend.
Volunteers should being their own personal protection equipment.
- Please wear sturdy boots
- Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Bring work gloves if possible
- Bring water and snacks
- This is a labor intensive project
We will email a map of where to meet the day before the project (call us if you did not receive the email)
