Senior Socialization in Menlo Park
The New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park provides around-the-clock medical and nursing care as well as rehabilitative services, such as occupational and physical therapies, speech therapy, and recreational activities are provided under the direct supervision of licensed professionals. For the convenience and comfort of the residents, the home features fully equipped beauty and barber shops, lounges for socializing and watching television, outdoor patios and recreation areas, and picnic grounds. Recreational activities available include gardening, ceramics and other arts and crafts, cooking, bingo, shopping trips, music, art and pet therapy programs, movies, dinner trips, fishing excursions, billiards, and trips to sporting events. The Menlo Park facility was rebuilt in 1999 on 109-acres and is equipped for 332 residents.
Volunteers are needed to socialize with the residents of the facility.
