Jersey Cares presents September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance, a day of “unity, empathy and service as an enduring and positive tribute to those lost and injured.” On Friday, September 11, 2026 and Saturday, September 12, 2026, in honor of the 25th anniversary, Jersey Cares volunteers will come together to strengthen a community deeply impacted by the events of September 11th, 2001. Join Jersey Cares and your neighbors as we dedicate a day of service to that which makes us great – each other.

IN-PERSON PROJECT OPTIONS

Kit Assembly in Livingston - Session 1: Volunteers will create kits for First Responders throughout the state of New Jersey. Volunteers will contribute to both the creative elements and the assembly of each kit.

• Registration for this project is FREE.
• This event is appropriate for ages 4+.
• This event will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• The last day to register for this project is Wednesday, September 9th.
