Project Coordinator

Jersey Cares Project Coordinators (PC's), volunteer in a leadership capacity on our calendar projects and provide organization and a team atmosphere for every volunteer experience. We encourage these exceptional community leaders to make a commitment at one specific program usually once or twice monthly for the span of six months. If you are interested in volunteering your time and giving your talent to becoming a Project Coordinator, please contact Gabriella Fernandes. Event Planning Committee

Every year, Jersey Cares counts on a dedicated group of volunteers to lead the planning and execution of our Annual Fundraiser. We are always looking for interested individuals to solicit auction prizes, ticket sales and new event sponsors. The committee meets once per month and the time commitment is flexible to accommodate your schedule. Please contact Michelle Dee if you are interested in joining our committee!

Annual Event Site Captain

Similar to a Project Coordinator but managing large-scale groups of 50 volunteers or more, we seek Site Captains to lead opportunities for the following days of service:

  • January
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, (MLK) Day of Service

  • May
    Jersey Cares Day

  • September
September 11th National Day of Service & Remembrance

  • November - December
    Winter Coat Drive

Site Captains recruit and lead groups of volunteers for large-scale projects. Volunteer with your office, church, sorority/fraternity or just a group of friends and family. To learn more about Site Captains, please contact Jennifer Lewellen.

Mural Artists

Jersey Cares is always looking for new Volunteer Mural Artists to join our Mural Artist Program. Mural Artists incorporate the requests of our agency partners and then Jersey Cares recruits volunteers to paint in the lines. Professional training is not required - just artistic ability. This is a great way for volunteers with artistic talent to give back to their communities while doing something enjoyable. If you're interested in becoming a Volunteer Mural Artist, please contact Jennifer Lewellen or complete an online application now. Learn More
