Volunteers will create a positive experience through brief interactions with children, parents and local residents. All it takes is a willingness to engage in friendly conversation, an ability to greet students and families with a welcomed “hello” and a passion for Newark as a thriving community.
Volunteer Tasks Include

  • Walking
  • Smiling

Safe Passage is designed to provide safe routes for students while traveling to and from school.
