Hunger Helpers in Hoboken
Providing shelter to 50 people nightly and serving 300 meals daily, volunteers play an integral role in making the Hoboken Shelter operational.
In only a few hours, your participation in this rewarding project will make a difference in the lives of many. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve meals to those who otherwise would go hungry.
Dress casual and arrive enthusiastic about engaging people in conversation. The agency requires that volunteers bring one of the following to donate:

Cups (Hot/Cold)

Plate (Paper/Plastic)

Plastic Utensils (especially forks)

Napkins
-
Toilet Paper
-
Laundry Detergent
-
Garbage Bags

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
