Games Galore and More in Hanover
Games Galore and More is a team of volunteers who assist the staff of a long-term care senior facility with fun activities while engaging residents in meaningful and friendly conversation, board and card games and reading to the residents. This is a wonderful opportunity to brighten the life of someone who may normally not have the opportunity to connect with others outside of their families and the organization's staff. This is the perfect project for individuals, families, friends and loved ones. Volunteer today and let the games begin!

Family Game Night
Also, calling all musicians who would like to perform informally for the residents.
Care One is now requiring all confirmed volunteers to be fully vaccinated and able to present proof of vaccination upon arrival.
Upon your arrival, please be sure to sign in at the front desk. Volunteers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival.
Volunteer tasks include but are not limited to: engaging and conversing with guests, assisting in the transportation of residents to and from their rooms, and working with residents for a night filled packed of games.
Volunteer Guidelines: COVID-19
Protective Equipment: Masks must be worn throughout the duration of the project.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Clean and wash your hands before, during, and after volunteering for a minimum of 20 seconds.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
