Hospice Companions in Union County
Work directly with patients and their families, offering support, companionship and encouragement. Patient/family care volunteers usually spend 1-3 hours per week with their hospice families and remain in contact as long as those families are in the program. In addition, pet therapy, music therapy and other talents are welcome. Opportunities available in both Scotch Plains and Elizabeth.
NEED-TO-KNOW

Volunteers must meet medical requirements: physical, TB test, and titers for Rubella/Rubeolla, Covid vaccine.

Complete an 8-hour online training that can be done at your own pace.

Volunteers must submit a background check.
