Excitement is Building in Jersey City
William L. Dickinson High School overlooks New York Harbor from the southern tip of the Hudson River Palisades. Standing as an educational beacon since 1906, Jersey City’s first high school has continued to embrace the rich ethnic and cultural diversity that surrounds it. Its Small Learning Communities and special programs attract students from all over our city with specialty studies focusing on a variety of academic, vocational, and technology themes. William L. Dickinson High School is home to over 2,300 students, of which 63% are eligible for free or reduced lunch. Volunteers are needed to build picnic tables for the school's outdoor space.
