Pet Therapy at Hanover (Harmony Village)

If you enjoy showing off your pet and spending time with others, then Pet Therapy in Hanover is the project for you! Pet therapy is proven to provide therapeutic effects and elicit positive emotions. Care One at Hanover is one of the premiere long-term care facilities in New Jersey. This is a fun and popular project that is great for your whole family.

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• ​Upon your arrival, please be sure to sign in at the front desk.

• Volunteers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival.

• Volunteers must bring a pet in order to attend.

• Although, pets DO NOT have to be "certified" all pets must have proof of an up to date rabies vaccination. Please bring a copy of this certificate to keep on file.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
