We are ‘The Rock Place’ a Christian based Church in Newark, aimed at servicing the spiritual and material needs of our community. For this event, our goal is to give away more than 200+ backpacks with school supplies; free food/beverages; outdoor party rentals for the children to play; and fun activities for both children & parents.
 

NEED-TO-KNOW:

Causal and modest attire. Sneakers and jeans are okay..

A brief orientation will be given upon arrival. 
 

Volunteer tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Parking/Traffic & Crowd Control (outside venue) - assist with parking and directing traffic flow outside of church if necessary.

• Media (photographer) - taking pictures and videos

• Set-up crew/Cleaners- organizing and breaking down tables and chairs; collecting trash/garbage

• Usher- floating around and helping direct guests to stations

• Table Volunteer- replenishing supplies and give out supplies

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
