Donation Sorting in Warren
Volunteers are needed to assist Moms Helping Moms Foundation in sorting and organizing clothing donations. Some of the tasks can include but are not limited to: receiving, sorting, and organizing clothing donations of all sizes/seasons (including premie, new born, and toddler), breaking down boxes, and assisting staff in placing donations on organized displays shelves. This is a great opportunity for teens (with adult supervision) to earn volunteer hours and work independently while working together to make a change.
NEED-TO-KNOW:

Moms Helping Moms Foundation is now requiring all confirmed volunteers to be fully vaccinated and boosted.

Upon arrival: Volunteers are asked to drive around to the back of the building's parking lot until they are able to see the Mom's Helping Mom's Foundation logo on the door. Call when you have arrived.

Volunteer tasks can include but are not limited to: sorting through a collection of clothing, clean up/maintenance, organizing shelves and clothes for display, and assisting in the organization of incoming donations. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Volunteers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival.

Volunteers should wear clothes they feel comfortable working in.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
