The Golden Kitchen Food Pantry hosts an outdoor drive and walk through food distribution at the Golden Lodge. Volunteers are needed for setting up tables for the outdoor distribution, sorting and distribution of food, assisting guests with food choices, outdoor set-up and clean-up for the pantry. Environment is generally fast-paced with some heavy lifting.
Need-To-Know:

Volunteers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival.

Volunteers should dress for the weather since most activities are outdoors. Modest clothing is recommended, no short tops or short shorts. Closed toes shoes are required .

Flexibility is a plus since tasks are contingent upon weather and amount of food or donations that will be used during the day.

Ability to lift and move potentially heavy boxes (20-40 lbs.) of food, including helping move boxes and food from basement.

Please note: The tasks for this opportunity have been determined by Golden Kitchen Food Pantry based on the food delivered by the food supplier. The workload for each opportunity may be affected by this resulting in a delayed start time or shortened volunteer experience. We thank you for your patience and understanding

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
