Help Temple Rock Church today by distributing food to those in need. Volunteers will help distribute food to families in the community. Many families don't have the essentials for day to day living. Let's help fix that with Temple Rock.

The Rock Community Center of Newark supports, serves, and empowers families and individuals. They hope to bring hope and practical aid to the heart of the community.

NEED-TO-KNOW

• ​Volunteers are needed to serve food to the local community on Saturdays. Occasionally volunteers are also needed to help set up on Fridays for Saturday mornings.

• ​Wear comfortable clothes ( jeans, t-shirt, sweat suit, sneakers, and closed toe shoes ). Also, this project involves a some heavy lifting so please bring your own work gloves (if preferred)

• ​There is a parking lot on the side of the church. Street parking is also available.

• Please note: The tasks for this opportunity have been determined by Temple Rock based on the food delivered by the food supplier. The workload for each opportunity may be affected by this resulting in a delayed start time or shortened volunteer experience. We thank you for your patience and understanding

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
