Uplifting Community In Jersey City (Deliverance Children's Ministry)

Join DCM as they motivate and uplift the community. Volunteers will be helping set up tables and serving food to members of the community.

Deliverance Children's Ministry (DCM) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2017. Our mission is to empower our neighbors in underserved communities through urban farming, after-school enrichment, and social justice initiatives. By prioritizing the cultivation of green spaces, nurturing young minds, and responding to urgent needs in our back yard, we foster resilience, equity, and opportunity for one neighbor at a time.

NEED-TO-KNOW

• ​Volunteers will set up chairs, tables, tents, etc.

• ​Volunteers will be greeting guests, handing out marketing materials and serve brunch

• ​Volunteers will also clean up and breakdown of chairs, table and tents

• There is a large parking lot with lots of parking. Volunteers will not have to lift heavy items. They can also sit between tasks.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
