West Side High School is a school embracing the future. Many of the West Side faculty are former graduates, and West Side graduates have attended a cross section of educational institutions and universities including Harvard University. With a proud history as an educational beacon, West Side High continues to pursue academic excellence. West Side High School NAF Academy is a member of the National Academy Foundation-Academy of Finance. An outstanding curriculum has been developed for the students who participate in this program. Courses include banking, insurance, taxes and investments providing the student with skills needed to manage personal and business finances. Honor students will have several opportunities to participate in exciting programs that will enrich their educational experiences at West Side High School. West Side Academy serves 385 students in grades 9-12 and 76% of their students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
