PS 30 Alexander Sullivan Elementary School

Total Enrollment: 844 Total Minority Enrollment: 94% Total eligible for free/reduced lunches: 84% This elementary school serves over 800 students in grades Pre-K through 5th. The school is racially, ethnically and linguistically diverse. African-Americans and Latinos are the largest groups; there are also significant numbers of Asian-American students as well as others whose families hail from the English-speaking Caribbean region. Nearly 20 percent of its students are still acquiring English; many of these children ride buses from other neighborhoods in order to take advantage of their bilingual and ESL programs.
