Organization Profile
As part of the Jersey City Public School district, Renaissance Institute provides a rigorous academic program that encourages personal responsibility and high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction and learning styles. The program is specially designed to motivate students by developing individualized learning plans in an innovative educational environment. With a longer day, and the opportunity to take 50 or more credits, students have the opportunity for credit recovery as well as earn advanced credit. Although the students take their courses at the Renaissance Institute, they are able to participate in all extra-curricular activities at their home high schools. Our students will receive their diploma's and graduate with their home high school class.
