Warehouse Assistance in Hillside

Marketplace in Hillside is a project dedicated to battling hunger and poverty in our community. During this time volunteers would make a measurable difference in the lives of many by assisting to sort, pack, organize, and distribute emergency boxes for the community. 

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• Onsite parking available but all volunteers should use the new lot to park. Please only use the old fenced in lot if the new lot is full.

• ​Please note: Volunteers are asked arrive 15 minutes early for registration. Without registering and after 9 am, volunteers will not be permitted to enter the project.

• Heavy lifting may be involved

• Please note, volunteers should be able to stand for the duration of the opportunity

• Before participating volunteers will have their temperature taken to ensure safety of other volunteers and residents. 
   

• NO - open-toed shoes (sandals, flip flops, etc.), No tank tops, No short-shorts (knee length - ok), No backpacks, purses, other extra baggage, unless medically necessary and reading glasses only if needed. No warehouse vests. No liquids or water bottles. Water given to all volunteers.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
