Join the staff of Essentially Yours From The Heart (in partnership with Fairmount Heights Neighborhood Association) to distribute food to families in Newark. EYFTH's goal is to be an impactful community movement led by members of the community. They are inspired by the belief that everyday people can shape and mold a society where everyone can achieve their true potential.

NEED-TO-KNOW

• ​Volunteers will be assisting in clean up, distribution and break down. Please be sure to wear clothes that you are comfortable working in.

• ​ There will be some periods of standing and volunteers will be asked to lift up to ~30lbs

• ​There is parking at the back of the school when you arrive. Please be sure to ask for Ramona "Mona" Thomas when you arrive.

Your willingness to serve with a bright smile and a sense of humor is what makes volunteering all the more easier.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
